Joining SBL in August 2008, Jacqueline R. Butler most recently served as Assistant University Attorney at Kansas State University where she counseled University administrators on a variety of legal issues including employment matters and policy development, as well as representing the University before federal courts, state appellate courts, and state agencies. Jacque also served as lead counsel to the Athletics Department assisting it with a myriad of legal issues including coaching contracts and NCAA Compliance matters. She continues in this role on a part-time basis through October 2009. Prior to her time at K-State, Jacque served as research attorney to the Honorable Nancy Caplinger on the Kansas Court of Appeals and was in private practice in Hannibal, Missouri. Familiar with Western Kansas, Jacque was raised in Kinsley and is the daughter of Jenny Eastman and the late Terry Fuller.
