Larned (Kansas) Community Web Site Business Incentives2. All four cities in Pawnee County have an Electrical Economic Development Rate for new industrial and commercial customers having load requirements greater than 200 KVA. 3. Pawnee County has an effective Industrial Revenue Bond Policy. 4. Pawnee County and the City of Larned has a joint Tax Exemption and Tax Incentive Policy for manufacturing and non-manufacturing businesses. There is a five or ten year tax abatement, depending on the number of jobs created and amount of investment. ( subject to Board of Tax Appeals) 5. The City of Larned provides a $1 per year lease at the Industrial Park. Acreage is also available for purchase in the Industrial Park at $1,500 per acre (negotiable). Larned also provides, at no cost, adequate sewer and water service to the property line on designated lots for any business locating at the Industrial Park that employs at least 20 full-time employees. 6. The City of Larned and the City of Rozel each have Neighborhood Revitalization Areas which gives property tax rebates for five years on qualifying new or exisitng business, commercial, or residential structures. 7. Pawnee County has an active economic development program, under the guidance of Pawnee County Economic Development Commission. This program is funded by the county and four cities in the county.
